History
The original plot of land on which the property stands was called Rough Meadow.
In 1837 Rough Meadow was sold by William Birch of Barton Under Needwood to Richard Chamberlain for £336.5.0

In 1870 the property was sold by Francis Ley of Derby to Charles Milnes Hallam for £700.
In 1880 the Property known as Errisbeg House was sold by Charles Milnes Hallam executors to Frederick James and William John Drewry.
In 1893 the property then known as Errisbeg House was sold by Frederick James and William John Drewry of Burton on Trent to Miss Frances Blackburn for £1,600
In 1894 Miss Frances Blackburn sold the property to Edward Mellor of Callingwood in the County of Derby for £1,000
During it’s time the property has been privately owned by a Brewery owner, a dentist who experimented with anaesthetics, a Boxing Promoter and an I.T company.
It has also been used as an Old Peoples home.
